Circuit Description

Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) signal pulses are used by PCM to initiate fuel injection. CMP and CKP sensor pulses are constantly being compared to each other. PCM will set DTC P0341 if CMP sensor pulses are not in proper ratio to 58X reference pulses.
Conditions required to set DTC are:
- Engine running and PCM receiving CMP reference pulses.
- Listed condition fails for 10 occurrences within 100 test samples.
