Circuit Description
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2000 Isuzu Rodeo and 2000 Isuzu Amigo. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
Throttle Position (TP) sensor measures amount of throttle opening. PCM uses TP sensor information for fuel delivery calculations. TP sensor readings during wide open throttle are greater than 4 volts, and less than one volt at idle.
Conditions required to set DTC are:
- Ignition is on.
- TP sensor signal voltage is more than 4.78 volts for a period of .78 seconds over a 1.5 second period.
