Step "B"

  1. Turn ignition off. Reconnect IAC valve 2-pin connector. Perform PCM reset procedure. See SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - INTRODUCTION article.
  2. Start engine and allow to idle with no electrical loads. Check engine idle speed after one minute. See IDLE SPEED SPECIFICATIONS (CIVIC D16Y8 ENGINE M/T)  table. If idle speed is as specified, go to Step "C" . If idle speed is not as specified, go to TROUBLE SHOOTING - NO CODES article.
