[Fuel Sender]
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Remove the fuel pump assembly.
(Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ")
- Place the fuel sender float at the top and bottom positions and measure the resistance between terminals 5 and 6 of the fuel pump connector (A).
Pin No Description 1 Fuel pump motor (U) 2 Fuel pump motor (V) 3 Fuel pump motor (W) 4 Ground 5 Main fuel sender signal (+) 6 Main fuel sender ground (-) 7 Sub fuel sender ground (-) 8 Sub fuel sender signal (+) - Also check that the resistance changes smoothly when the float moves from "E" to "F".
