Water cooled intercooler coolant reservoir tank

  1. Disconnect the water cooled intercooler outlet hose and then drain the water cooled intercooler coolant.

    (Refer to Cooling System - "WATER COOLED INTERCOOLER COOLANT ")

  2. Loosen the drain plug and drain the engine coolant.

    (Refer to Cooling System - "COOLANT ")

  3. Disconnect the water cooled intercooler over flow hose (A).

  4. Disconnect the water cooled intercooler reservoir tank hose (A).

  5. Disconnect the ATF warmer coolant hose (A).

  6. Remove the water cooled intercooler coolant reservoir tank (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    7.8 - 11.7 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.7 - 8.6 lb.ft)

  7. Remove the water cooled intercooler coolant reservoir tank bracket (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    7.8 - 11.7 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.7 - 8.6 lb.ft)

  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  9. Fill the engine coolant.

    (Refer to Cooling System - "COOLANT ")

    NOTE:
    • The engine coolant must be injected according to the integrated thermal management module (ITM) coolant filling method.
  10. Fill the water cooled intercooler coolant.

    (Refer to Cooling System - "COOLANT ")

    NOTE:
    • The water cooled intercooler coolant must be injected according to the electric water pump (EWP) coolant filling method.
