Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
- Rear Wheelhouse Liner-Right Side - Remove - Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (Terrain) , or Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (Equinox)
Front Brake Pipe Nut (2) - Remove
- Front Brake Pipe Clip (1) - Disengage
- Rear Brake Hose Retainer (3) - Remove
- Plug the rear brake hose inlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Front Brake Pipe Clip (1) - Disengage [3x]
Front Brake Pipe Nut (1) - Remove
- Cap the right rear brake front pipe outlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
- Maneuver the rear brake crossover pipe (2) out of the vehicle.
