Installation Procedure
Maneuver the rear brake crossover pipe (2) into the vehicle.
- Remove the plug from the rear brake hose inlet.
- Front Brake Pipe Nut (1) - Install and tighten 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
Front Brake Pipe Clip (1) - Engage [3x]
Remove the cap from the rear brake front pipe outlet.
- Rear Brake Hose Retainer (3) - Install
- Front Brake Pipe Clip (1) - Engage
- Front Brake Pipe Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Rear Brake Hose Replacement
- Rear Wheelhouse Liner-Right Side - Install - Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (Terrain) , or Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (Equinox)
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
- Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure)
- Check the brake system for leaks.
