Installation Procedure

CAUTION:

Hood Hinge Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

With the aid of an assistant, install the hood. (2)
Hood Hinge Nut - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
Connect the electrical connector and install the wiring harness retainers as necessary.

NOTE:
Ensure the clip is fully seated when the rod is reinstalled. If the clip cannot be fully seated, a new rod should be installed.

NOTE:

Hood Power Assist Actuator (2) - Install
Install the metal clip to end of the hood power assist actuator.
Wiring Harness Retainer (1) - Install [2x]

Front Fender Ornamentation Vent (1) - Install
Front Fender Ornamentation Vent Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

Front Compartment Side Sight Shield (1) - Install

NOTE:

Turn the 3 front compartment sight shield retainers (1) a quarter turn clockwise to install. [3x]
Adjust if necessary. Hood Adjustment
