Installation Procedure

    Low Frequency Front Compartment Antenna (1) - Install

  2. Secure the retaining tabs.
  3. Connect the electrical connector.

    UHF Low Energy Remote Control Access Sensor Transceiver (1) - Install

  5. Secure the retaining tabs.
  6. Connect the electrical connector.

    Front Trim Finish Compartment (2) - Install

    8. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  8. Front Trim Finish Compartment Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [10x] - Fastener Specifications 
  9. Connect the electrical connector.

    Connect the electrical connector.

  11. Cargo Lamp (1) - Install
  12. Ensure the retaining tab has fully secured.

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  14. Front Trim Finish Compartment Lamp Bezel (1) - Install

    Front Trim Finish Compartment Support Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Trim Finish Compartment Closeout Cap - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install [2x]

  17. Front Trim Finish Compartment Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Cargo Tie Down Loop-Rear and Front (2) - Install [4x]

  19. If NEW threaded components are being installed, loosen the adhesive using a metal pick or similar tool before proceeding. If threaded components are reused, prepare the threaded components using the following steps:
    1. Remove any loose cured adhesive from the external threads of the components using a lint free cloth.
    2. Thread the cleaned components into the internal mating threads and remove to loosen trapped cured adhesive.
    3. Remove loose debris from internal and external threads using compressed air.
    4. Apply liquid thread locking adhesive in a strip along half of the length of the external threads, starting at the tip, just prior to installation. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
  20. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt-Rear and Front (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  21. Close the 4 cargo tie down loop access covers.

    Hood Weatherstrip (1) - Install

    Front Compartment Side Sight Shield - Left Side Front and Right Side Front (1) - Install [2x]
