Installation Procedure

    With the aid of an assistant, install the instrument panel upper trim panel (1).

    1. Install the 2 harness retainers.
    2. Push the instrument panel upper trim panel (1) forward and downward to install placing it above the 4 front metal retaining tabs.
    3. Pull the instrument panel upper trim panel (1) rearward and push downward to install it into the 4 front metal tabs.
  2. Secure the retaining tabs.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [11x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Airbag Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications 

  5. Connect the electrical connector.
  6. Install the retainer.

    Connect the electrical connectors.

    Instrument Panel Trim Pad Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [8x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Trim Plate (2) - Install

  11. Instrument Panel Trim Plate Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] Front End Upper Tie Bar Bolt Fastener Specifications

  15. Radio Front Speaker - Right Side (2) - Install
  16. Radio Front Speaker Bolt (1) Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Radio Front Speaker Grille - Right Side (2) - Install

  18. Secure the retaining tabs.

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  25. Secure the retaining tabs.

  39. Radio Front Speaker - Left Side (2) - Install
  40. Radio Front Speaker Bolt (1) Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Radio Front Speaker Grille - Left Side (2) - Install

  42. Secure the retaining tabs.

    Open the instrument panel compartment door.

    Install the left and right front floor mat (1).

  62. Return the seat to its original position.

    Connect the electrical connector.

  64. Forward Collision Alert Display (2) - Install
  65. Forward Collision Alert Display Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  66. Connect the electrical connector to the auxiliary wireless communication interface antenna.
