Installation Procedure

    Maneuver the left front brake pipe (1) into the vehicle.

    Remove the plug from the front brake hose inlet.

  3. CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution .

  4. Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Front Brake Pipe Clip (1) - Engage [2x]

    Remove the cap from the brake master cylinder outlet.

  7. Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    NOTE:

    Some components not shown for graphic clarity.

    Radiator Surge Tank (2) - Install

  9. Radiator Surge Tank Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Air Cleaner Outlet Duct (4) - Install

  11. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Nut (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  12. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  13. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (5) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
  14. Turbocharger Outlet Duct Front Clamp (1) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Positive Crankcase Ventilation Fresh Air Tube (1) @ Air Cleaner Outlet Duct - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

    Oil Filler Cap (1) - Remove

    Intake Manifold Cover (1) - Install

  18. Oil Filler Cap - Install
  19. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  20. Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) 
  21. Fill the brake master cylinder reservoir to the maximum-full level with GM approved brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container. Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling 
  22. Check for brake system leaks.
