Installation Procedure
Instrument Panel Carrier (1) - Install
- Connect and position the wiring harness.
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Instrument Panel Carrier Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 12x ] - Fastener Specifications
- Install the fuse block and connect the harness as noted when removed.
Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Duct (1) - Install
- Position the wiring harness and connect the harness retainers.
Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Duct Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Side Window Defogger Outlet Duct - Left Side (1) - Install
Side Window Defogger Outlet Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Side Window Defogger Outlet Duct Retainer (2) - Install
Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Duct - Right Side (1) - Install
- Wiring Harness Retainer - Install
Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Duct Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] - Fastener Specifications
Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Duct - Right Side (1) - Install
Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Duct - Left Side (1) - Install
Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Duct Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Side Window Defogger Outlet Duct - Right Side (1) - Install
Side Window Defogger Outlet Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Side Window Defogger Outlet Duct Retainer (1) - Install
Connect the electrical connectors.
- Radio Control (1) - Install
Radio Control Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 5x ] - Fastener Specifications
Connect the electrical connector.
- Electronic Transmission Shift Control Pushbutton (2) - Install
- Electronic Transmission Shift Control Pushbutton Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 3x ] - Fastener Specifications
Instrument Panel Transmission Shift Opening Cover (2) - Install
- Instrument Panel Accessory Bezel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Instrument Panel Center Trim Plate Applique (2) - Install
- Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 4x ] - Fastener Specifications
Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel (2) - Install
- Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] - Fastener Specifications
Connect the electrical connectors.
- Instrument Cluster (2) - Install
- Instrument Cluster Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 4x ] - Fastener Specifications
Head-Up Display Bracket (2) - Install
- Connect and position the wiring harness.
- Head-Up Display Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 3x ] - Fastener Specifications
Connect the electrical connector.
- Head-Up Display (2) - Install
- Head-Up Display Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 4x ] - Fastener Specifications
Head-Up Display Bezel (1) - Install
Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Instrument Panel Upper Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [ 5x ] - Fastener Specifications
Connect the electrical connector.
- Radio Front Speaker (2) - Install
- Radio Front Speaker Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] - Fastener Specifications
Radio Front Speaker Grille (1) - Install
Front Floor Console (1) - Install - Front Floor Console Removal and Installation (D07 without Denali) , or Front Floor Console Removal and Installation (DCH without Denali) , or Front Floor Console Removal and Installation (D07 with Denali) , or Front Floor Console Removal and Installation (DCH with Denali)
Steering Column (1) - Install - Steering Column Removal And Installation (Without Denali) , or Steering Column Removal and Installation (with Denali)
Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel (1) - Install - Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Removal and Installation - Right Side (with Denali)
- Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling
- Perform the necessary programming and setup procedure: Control Module References
Ensure that each tab on the head-up display is properly seated in the mating hole for proper alignment.
