Installation Procedure
- Using the outline made by the spray paint or marker, position the transmission mount to the drivetrain and front suspension cradle.
- Install the NEW transmission rear mount bolts (2) and nuts and tighten the bolts to 100 N.m (74 lb ft) plus 60 to 75 degrees.CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
CAUTION:Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .
- Raise the drivetrain and front suspension cradle to it's original position then install the left and right side front cradle rear braces. Front Cradle Rear Brace Replacement
- Connect the intermediate steering shaft to the steering gear. Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement
- Install the transmission mount to bracket through bolt (1) and tighten to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).
- Install the two piece propeller shaft. Two-Piece Propeller Shaft Replacement .
- Remove the jack stand.
- Lower the vehicle.
