Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition On
- Verify no other DTCs are set.
- If any other DTCs are set
- Go to next step: If no other DTCs are set
- Verify the scan tool parameter:Throttle Body Idle Air Flow CompensationLess than 90%
- If greater than 90%
- Go to next step: If less than 90%
- Engine - Idling - At normal operating temperature
- Verify the scan tool parameter:Engine Speed=-100 to +200 RPM of the Desired Idle Speed
- Go to next step: If a condition exists Engine Speed Less than desired-100 to +200 RPM of the Desired Idle Speed
Go to next step: Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- Go to next step: If a condition exists Engine Speed Greater than desired-100 to +200 RPM of the Desired Idle Speed
Go to next step: Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- Go to next step: If a condition exists Engine Speed200 RPM Less than desired
- Go to next step: If a condition exists Engine Speed Less than desired-100 to +200 RPM of the Desired Idle Speed
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
- Verify the DTC does not set.
- Go to next step: If the DTC sets
