Preliminary Procedures

Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (GMC) , or Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Chevrolet) , or Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (ZR2)
Remove the front bumper shutter lower and upper baffle. Refer to Front Bumper Shutter Baffle Replacement (Lower Without Bison) , or Front Bumper Shutter Baffle Replacement (Upper Without Bison)

Front Bumper Shutter Bolts (Qty: 9)

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:
6 N.m (53 lb in)

Front Bumper Shutter

Procedure

Lift the two tabs at the top of the front bumper shutter.
Disconnect the electrical connector and retainers.
Transfer any necessary additional parts as needed.
