Hood Replacement

WARNING: When a hood hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury. Preliminary Procedure Remove the air inlet grille panel extension. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Extension Replacement . Remove the hood struts. Refer to Hood Strut Replacement .
1	Hood Nut (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
2	Hood Procedure With the aid of an assistant remove the hood. Transfer any parts as needed. Hood Adjustment (GMC) , or Hood Adjustment (Colorado)

Tighten
