Removal Procedure

  1. Remove Engine Oil Level Indicator Control Module Wiring Harness - Engine Oil Level Indicator Control Module Wiring Harness Replacement 
  2. Remove Exhaust Front Pipe - Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LYX)
    3. Fig 1: Transmission Bolts

  3. Remove the transmission bolts (1, 2, 3)Transmission Replacement (Front Wheel Drive except Diesel Engine)Transmission Replacement (All Wheel Drive except Diesel Engine)
  4. Remove Torque Converter Cover (4)
    5. Fig 2: Oil Pan Bolts

    NOTE:

    Mark the position of the oil pan bolts because of different length.

  5. Remove the oil pan bolts (1, 2)
  6. Carefully pry the oil pan loose and remove.
  7. For part transfer, cleaning and inspection Oil Pan Cleaning and Inspection .
