Removal Procedure

  1. Remove Intake Manifold Cover -Intake Manifold Cover Replacement 
  2. Reposition away Fuel Feed Front Pipe -Fuel Feed Front Pipe Replacement
  3. Remove Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve -Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement

  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1, 2)
  5. Remove Wiring Harness Retainer (3)
  6. Remove Throttle Body Assembly - Throttle Body Assembly Replacement

  7. Remove Engine Wiring Harness Bracket Bolt (1)
  8. Reposition away Engine Wiring Harness Bracket (2)

    NOTE:

    Bolt retainers keep the bolts in position on the assembly. If the bolts are removed from the assembly, the 2 shorter bolts go to the outside lower locations.

  9. Fully loosen the intake manifold fasteners (1) then remove the intake manifold (2).

  10. Remove Intake Manifold Gasket (2) and DISCARD
  11. Clean and inspect the intake manifold. Intake Manifold Cleaning and Inspection 
  12. If replacing the intake manifold, transfer all necessary parts.
