Installation Procedure

- Rear Suspension Lower Control Arm (1) - Install
- Install the rear suspension lower control arm inner nut (1) and bolt (2). Do not tighten at this time.
- Rear Suspension Lower Control Arm Bolt (2) Install a NEW bolt.
- Rear Suspension Lower Control Arm Nut (1) Install NOTE:
Tighten the bolt and hold the nut.
Tighten
- First Pass: 150 N.m (111 lb ft)
- Final Pass: plus 90-105 degrees
- Rear Suspension Lower Control Arm Inner Nut - Tighten
Tighten
- First Pass: 115 N.m (85 lb ft)
- Final Pass: plus 90-105 degrees
- Install the NEW rear shock absorber lower bolt (1).
Tighten
- First Pass: 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
- Final Pass: plus 90-105 degrees
- Rear Suspension Lower Trailing Link Outer Bolt - Install a NEW bolt.
- Rear Suspension Lower Trailing Link Outer Nut - Install NOTE:
Tighten the bolt and hold the nut.
Tighten
- First Pass: 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
- Final Pass: plus 90-105 degrees
- Stabilizer Shaft Link Bolt - Install and tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
- Rear Suspension Lower Control Arm Cover (2) - Install
- Install the rear suspension lower control arm cover push pins (1) [4x].
- Install the rear wheel. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Non V-Series)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (V-Series October 4th 2015 and Earlier)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (V-Series October 5th 2015 and Later)
- Remove the safety stands.
- Lower the vehicle to the ground.
- Perform rear camber adjustment. Rear Camber Adjustment

Refer to Fastener Caution .
CAUTION:
When removing/installing the lower control arm bolt, use care to not damage the park brake cable housing. If the housing is damaged, park brake failure may occur

This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fasteners could cause damage to the vehicle, component, or bodily injury.
