Removal Procedure

  1. Apply the brake pedal several times until the pedal becomes firm to deplete the power vacuum brake booster vacuum reserve.
  2. Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement - Left Side (ATS-V)Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement - Left Side - Remove
  3. Charge Air Bypass Valve Replacement - Left Side - Remove
  4. Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement - Left Side - Remove
  5. Disconnect the power brake booster vacuum sensor electrical connector.

    The charge air cooler inlet air hose not shown for clarity.

  6. Power Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor - Remove

  7. Power Brake Booster Vacuum Hose Quick Connect @Intake Manifold - Disconnect

  12. Vacuum Hose @ Engine Mount - Disconnect
  13. Power Brake Booster Vacuum Hose Assembly - Remove
