Installation Procedure

- Install the brake hose.
- Assemble the brake hose fitting bolt (1) with new brake hose fitting gaskets (2) to the brake hose fitting (3).
- Install the brake hose assembly to the brake caliper and tighten the brake hose fitting bolt to 40 (30 lb ft).
- Install the brake hose bracket bolt (1) and tighten to 10 (89 lb in).
- Secure the brake to from the wheel speed sensor harness clips (1).
- Install the brake hose retaining clip (1).
- Connect the brake pipe fitting (1) to the brake hose.
- Tighten the brake pipe fitting to 18 (13 lb ft).
- Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) .
- Install the front wheelhouse splash shield. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (AWD)Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (RWD) .
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Non V-Series)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (V-Series October 4th 2015 and Earlier)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (V-Series October 5th 2015 and Later) .
