Removal Procedure

- Remove the plenum front panel. Plenum Front Panel Replacement

- Disconnect the heater outlet pipe from the heater core only. - Power Vacuum Brake Booster - Remove — Power Vacuum Brake Booster Replacement
- Without removing the steering shafts from the vehicle, separate the upper intermediate steering shaft from the mid intermediate steering shaft. - Remove the air conditioning evaporator hose assembly. Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Assembly Replacement (LCV, LTG)Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Assembly Replacement (LF4, LGX)
- Release the brake pipe from the retaining clips (1).
- Release the brake pipe from the retaining clips (1) on the cowl.
- Release the brake pipe from the retaining clip (1).
- Disconnect the brake pressure modulator valve primary brake pipe fitting (1) at the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV).
- Plug the BPMV inlet port to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
- Remove the brake pressure modulator valve primary brake pipe.
