Installation Procedure

- Install the brake pressure modulator valve secondary brake pipe.
- Connect the brake pressure modulator valve secondary brake pipe fitting (1) at the BPMV and tighten the fitting to 32 (24 lb ft).
- Secure the brake pipe to the retaining clip (1).
- Secure the brake pipe to the retaining clips (1) on the cowl.
- Secure the brake pipe to the retaining clips (1).
- Install the air conditioning evaporator hose assembly. Refer to Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Assembly Replacement (LCV, LTG)Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Assembly Replacement (LF4, LGX) .
- Connect the brake pressure modulator valve secondary brake pipe fitting (1) at the master cylinder and tighten the fitting to 30 (22 lb ft).
- Install the upper intermediate steering shaft to the mid intermediate steering shaft. Refer to Upper Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement (RWD With LF4, LGX)Upper Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement (RWD With LCV, LTG)Upper Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement (AWD With LGX, LTG) .
- Connect the heater outlet pipe to the heater core. Refer to Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LFX)Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LCV)Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LTG with KL9)Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LTG without KL9)Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LGX)Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LF4) .
- Connect the heater inlet pipe to the heater core. Refer to Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (LCV, LTG)Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (LGX)Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (LF4) .
- Install the charge air cooler cover. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Cover Replacement .
- Install the plenum front panel. Refer to Plenum Front Panel Replacement .
- Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) .
