Removal Procedure

  1. Remove Camshaft - Left Side Camshaft Replacement - Left Side

  2. Remove Valve Rocker Switching Arm (1)
  3. Remove Valve Rocker Arm (2)

    NOTE:

    If the lifters are to be reused, keep in order so they can be reinstalled in the same position.

  4. Remove Dual Feed Hydraulic Valve Adjustor (1).
    5. NOTE:

    If the lifters are to be reused, keep in order so they can be reinstalled in the same position.

  5. Remove Hydraulic Valve Lash Adjuster (2).
  6. Refer to Camshaft Cleaning and Inspection
  7. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm Cleaning and Inspection
  8. Refer to Valve Lifter Cleaning and Inspection
