Preliminary Procedure Remove the outside rearview mirror bezel. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Housing Bezel Replacement .
1	Outside Rearview Mirror Housing Upper Cover Screw CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . NOTE: The second housing upper cover screw is removed with the outside rearview mirror bezel. Tighten 1.5 N.m (13 lb in)
2	Outside Rearview Mirror Housing Upper Cover Preliminary Procedures Lift housing upper cover upward and then forward to remove from the mirror. Disconnect the electrical connector. Transfer all necessary components. NOTE: Inspect the outside rearview mirror for proper operation.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

NOTE:

The second housing upper cover screw is removed with the outside rearview mirror bezel.

Tighten
1.5 N.m (13 lb in)

Outside Rearview Mirror Housing Upper Cover

Preliminary Procedures

Lift housing upper cover upward and then forward to remove from the mirror.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
Transfer all necessary components.

NOTE:

Inspect the outside rearview mirror for proper operation.
