Installation Procedure

- Lubricate the master cylinder reservoir seals with GM approved brake fluid from a clean, sealed, brake fluid container.
- Install the 2 master cylinder reservoir seals (1).
- Firmly and squarely press the master cylinder reservoir (1) into the master cylinder.
- Install the master cylinder reservoir bolt (1) and tighten to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
- If equipped, connect the clutch master cylinder feed hose.
- Install the brake fluid level indicator switch. Refer to Brake Fluid Level Indicator Switch Replacement
- Install Plenum Front Panel. Refer to Plenum Front Panel Replacement
- Fill the master cylinder reservoir. Refer to Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling
NOTE:
Ensure the reservoir seals are fully seated in the master cylinder.
