Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS-V)
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Non V-Series)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (V-Series)
  3. Remove Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Rear Wheel Drive)Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (All Wheel Drive)
    4. Fig 1: Brake Pipe Fitting

  4. Disconnect Brake Pipe Fitting (1)
  5. Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.

  6. Remove Brake Hose Retainer (1).

  7. Release Wheel Speed Sensor Harness Clip (1) (Qty: 2) @ Brake Hose.

  8. Remove Bolt (1)

  9. Remove Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (1)

    NOTE:

    Do not reuse the brake hose fitting gaskets.

  10. Remove and DISCARD Brake Hose Fitting Gaskets (1) (Qty: 2) @ Front Brake Hose (2)
  11. Remove Front Brake Hose
