Installation Procedure

  1. Install Front Brake Hose
    2. Fig 1: Brake Hose Fitting Gaskets At Brake Hose Fitting

    NOTE:

    Install new brake hose fitting gaskets.

  2. Install Brake Hose Fitting Gaskets (1) (Qty: 2) @ Front Brake Hose (2)

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install and tighten Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (1) to 40 N.m (30 lb ft)

  4. Install and tighten Bolt (1) to 10 N.m (89 lb in)

  5. Install Wheel Speed Sensor Harness Clip (1) (Qty: 2) @ Brake Hose

  6. Install Brake Hose Retainer (1)
    7. Fig 6: Brake Pipe Fitting

  7. Install and tighten Brake Pipe Fitting (1) to 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
  8. Bleed the brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) 
  9. Install Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (Rear Wheel Drive)Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement (All Wheel Drive)
  10. Install tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Non V-Series)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (V-Series)
