Installation Procedure

- Install the brake pressure modulator valve primary brake pipe.
- Connect the brake pressure modulator valve primary brake pipe fitting (1) at the BPMV and tighten the fitting to 32 N.m (24 lb ft).
- Secure the brake pipe to the retaining clip (1).
- Secure the brake pipe to the retaining clips (1) on the cowl.
- Secure the brake pipe to the retaining clips (1).
- Install the air conditioning evaporator hose assembly. Refer to Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Assembly Replacement (LF4, LGX) .
- Connect the brake pressure modulator valve primary brake pipe fitting (1) at the master cylinder and tighten the fitting to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
- Install the upper intermediate steering shaft to the mid intermediate steering shaft. Refer to Upper Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement (RWD With LF4, LGX) .
- Connect the heater outlet pipe to the heater core. Refer to Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LF4) .
- Connect the heater inlet pipe to the heater core. Refer to Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (LF4) .
- Install the charge air cooler cover. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Cover Replacement .
- Install the plenum front panel. Refer to Plenum Front Panel Replacement .
- Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) .
