Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear side door trim. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear side door armrest plate bolts and plate from the inner door panel.
  3. Remove the rear side door water deflector.

  4. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the luminous reflecting light, if equipped
    5. NOTE:

    When removing the door lock cylinder screw Do Not go past the hard stop.

  5. Loosen the screw for the rear side door lock cylinder cover. Refer to Rear Side Door Lock Cylinder Opening Cover Replacement .

  6. Remove the rear side door outside handle (1) from the door as follows:
    1. Open the door handle fully.
    2. Slide the door handle rearward releasing the handle from the door handle bracket.
    3. Remove the rear side door outside handle and connector from the door.
