Rear Side Door Locking Rod Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Remove the rear side door trim. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Replacement .
1	Rear Side Door Locking Rod Procedure Release the locking rod from the retainer. Turn the locking rod down, pull upward and turn releasing it from the latch. NOTE: Ensure that the door lock system operates properly before installing the trim.

Procedure

Release the locking rod from the retainer.
Turn the locking rod down, pull upward and turn releasing it from the latch.

NOTE:

Ensure that the door lock system operates properly before installing the trim.
