Headlamp Washer Pump Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Remove the windshield washer solvent container. Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement (Sedan with CE1) Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement (Sedan with CE4) Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement (Coupe) .
1	Headlamp Washer Pump Procedure Place a clean suitable drain pan under the headlamp washer pump to recover washer any lost washer solvent. Disconnect the headlamp washer hose and drain into pan. Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlamp washer pump. Using two flat-bladed tools, place the blades under each side of the headlamp washer pump seal and twist in opposite directions to lift and disconnect from the windshield washer solvent container. Discard and replace the headlamp washer pump seal.

Headlamp Washer Pump

Procedure

Place a clean suitable drain pan under the headlamp washer pump to recover washer any lost washer solvent.
Disconnect the headlamp washer hose and drain into pan.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlamp washer pump.
Using two flat-bladed tools, place the blades under each side of the headlamp washer pump seal and twist in opposite directions to lift and disconnect from the windshield washer solvent container.
Discard and replace the headlamp washer pump seal.
