Preliminary Procedures Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Removal and Installation (Sedan) Rear Seat Cushion Removal and Installation (Coupe) Remove the rear seat back cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Removal and Installation (without AM9) . Remove the rear seat head restraint. Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement (without AM9)
1	Rear Seat Head Restraint Guide Procedure Lower the seat back forward to gain space between the head restraint guide and the roof. The guide is released from the inboard side by inserting a suitable flat-bladed tool into the slot and prying it inward until released. Using a suitable flat-bladed tool, slide the tool into the guide until you find the slot on the inboard side of the guide. Push inward on the guide slot tab, while pulling upward to remove the guide from the seat back frame.

Rear Seat Head Restraint Guide

Procedure

Lower the seat back forward to gain space between the head restraint guide and the roof.
The guide is released from the inboard side by inserting a suitable flat-bladed tool into the slot and prying it inward until released.
Using a suitable flat-bladed tool, slide the tool into the guide until you find the slot on the inboard side of the guide. Push inward on the guide slot tab, while pulling upward to remove the guide from the seat back frame.
