Installation Procedure

- Install the cable grommet to the floor panel.
- Retainer 1 Connect
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Base)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (V-Series)
- Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable - Install
- Multifunction Energy Storage Capacitor Fastener - Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Protective Cap - Install
- Ground Cable - Install
- Ground Cable Nut - Tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
- Rear Bumper Lower Fascia Replacement -Install
- Lower the vehicle.
- Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable - Install 2
- Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable Nut - Tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in) 1
- Multifunction Energy Storage Capacitor Control Module Bracket - Install
- Multifunction Energy Storage Capacitor Control Module Bracket 2
- Multifunction Energy Storage Capacitor Control Module Bracket Bolt 1
Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
- { If equipped }Active Safety Control Module Bracket - Install
- { If equipped }Active Safety Control Module Bracket Bolt - Install and tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
- Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable - Install
- Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable Nut
- Tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
- Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Left Side (Sedan with AM9)Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Left Side (Sedan except AM9)Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Left Side (Coupe) -Install
