Limited Slip Differential Clutch Replacement (226mm eLSD)

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS-V) .
  2. Drain the differential. Refer to Rear Axle Lubricant Replacement (226mm eLSD) .
  3. Remove the differential assembly. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (LFX, LTG) Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (LF4) Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (LCV) .
1 Limited Slip Differential Clutch Bolt (Qty 8)
Tighten 
20 N.m (15 lb ft) + 34°
2 Limited Slip Differential Clutch

Procedure

  1. Remove the limited slip differential clutch.
  2. Install the NEW limited slip differential clutch.
  3. Install the differential assembly. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (LFX, LTG) Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (LF4) Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (LCV) .
  4. Fill the differential clutch fluid. Refer to Approximate Fluid Capacities .
  5. Perform the Rear Differential Clutch Control Module Calibration. Refer to Rear Differential Clutch Control Module Calibration .
  6. Perform the Rear Hydraulic System Service Fill/Bleed. Refer to Rear Differential Hydraulic System Service Fill/Bleed .
3 Limited Slip Differential Clutch Gasket
NOTE:

Must use a new gasket.
