Preliminary Procedure Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS-V) . Drain the differential. Refer to Rear Axle Lubricant Replacement (226mm eLSD) . Remove the differential assembly. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (LFX, LTG) Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (LF4) Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (LCV) .
1	Differential Carrier Cover Bolt (Qty 11) Tighten 52 N.m (38 lb ft)
2	Differential Carrier Cover Procedure Remove the differential carrier cover. Install the NEW differential carrier cover. Install the differential assembly. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (LFX, LTG) Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (LF4) Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (LCV) . Fill the differential clutch fluid. Refer to Approximate Fluid Capacities . Perform the Rear Hydraulic System Service Fill/Bleed. Refer to Rear Differential Hydraulic System Service Fill/Bleed .
3	Differential Carrier Cover Gasket NOTE: Must use a new gasket.
