Exhaust Manifold Removal (LCV)

  1. Remove the oxygen sensor (1).

  2. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts (2).
  3. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield (1).

  4. Remove and discard the exhaust manifold to cylinder head bolts (3).
  5. Remove the exhaust manifold (2).
  6. Remove and discard the exhaust manifold gasket (1).
  7. Clean all of the sealing surfaces.
  8. If the exhaust manifold is being replaced, transfer the following parts:
    • The exhaust manifold heat shield
    • The oxygen sensor
