Installation Procedure

  1. Install the instrument panel upper trim panel (1) secured by 11 retainers to the instrument panel carrier.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the bolts (1) securing the top of the instrument panel upper trim panel to the instrument panel carrier.

  3. Install the bolts (1) securing the instrument panel inflatable restraint module bracket to the instrument panel tie bar and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  4. Install the bolts (1) securing the top of the instrument panel upper trim panel to the instrument panel carrier.
  5. Install the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
  6. Install the instrument panel extension. Refer to Instrument Panel Extension Replacement .
  7. Install the radio control assembly. Refer to Radio Control Assembly Replacement .
  8. Install the windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement .
