Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement .
  2. Remove the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
  3. Remove the radio control assembly. Refer to Radio Control Assembly Replacement .
  4. Remove the instrument panel extension. Refer to Instrument Panel Extension Replacement .
  5. Remove the instrument panel knee bolster. Refer to Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Replacement .
  6. Remove the left instrument panel trim plate applique. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique Replacement - Left Side .
  7. Remove the instrument panel center trim plate applique. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Plate Applique Replacement .

  8. Remove the bolts (1) securing the top of the instrument panel upper trim panel to the instrument panel carrier.

  9. Remove the instrument panel upper trim panel (1) secured by retainers to the instrument panel carrier.
  10. Transfer components as necessary.
