Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front floor lower console (3). Refer to Front Floor Lower Console Replacement .

  2. Remove the windshield garnish molding (1). Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement .

  14. Remove the instrument panel carrier bolts (1).

  16. Note the location and routing of the instrument panel electrical harness assembly, to ensure proper reinstallation.
  17. Disconnect the fasteners securing the instrument panel electrical harness assembly to the instrument panel carrier and position out of the way.
  18. With the aid of an assistant lift the instrument panel carrier (1) rearward and upward from the tie bar assembly.
  19. Remove the instrument panel carrier from the vehicle.
