Installation Procedure

- Position the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe (1) on the vehicle.
- Install a NEW transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe fitting seal (1).
- Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe (3) in the transmission.
- Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe bolt (2) in the transmission and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Route the oxygen sensor harness in the same position as prior to removal and connect the oxygen sensor connector (1).
- Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe clip bolts (1) in the engine oil pan and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Install Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Clip (1) @Radiator Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
- Install Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe (2) @Radiator
- Install Engine Compartment Lower Noise Shield.Engine Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (All Wheel Drive)
- Install Front Air Deflector.Front Air Deflector Replacement
- Install Front Wheelhouse Liner.Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Non V-Series)
- Install Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Clip (1) @Air Conditioning Condenser Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
- Install Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe (2) @Air Conditioning Condenser
- Install Air Cleaner Assembly.Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LCV)
- Install Front Compartment Front Sight Shield. Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement (Sedan)Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement (Coupe)
- Fill the transmission to the proper level with NEW transmission fluid. Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check
- Inspect for transmission fluid leaks.
