Removal Procedure

Remove the exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement (LCV) .
Install the engine support fixture. Refer to Engine Support Fixture .
Remove the lower noise shield. Refer to Engine Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (All Wheel Drive)Engine Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (Front Wheel Drive) .

Remove the oil pump flow control valve heat shield bolt (1).
Remove the oil pump flow control valve heat shield (2).
Raise the vehicle.

Remove the engine mount bracket bolt (1).

Remove the engine mount bracket nut (1).

Remove the engine mount bracket bolts (1).
Remove the engine mount bracket (2).

NOTE:

Engine mount brackets are magnesium. To prevent galvanic corrosion, the bracket includes pressed on spacers on the back side. Even though it is highly unlikely, the pressed on spacers may loosen and fall off during engine mount bracket removal. Ensure the spacers are in place before reinstalling an existing bracket.
