Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716)
    2. Fig 1: Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace - Right Side

  2. Remove Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace - Right Side (4). Refer to Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement - Right Side
    3. Fig 2: Radiator Surge Tank

  3. Remove Radiator Surge Tank (6). Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LF4, LGX)

  4. Disengage Auxiliary Heater Outlet Hose Clamp (2)

    Use the BO-38185  Hose Clamp Pliers.

  5. Remove Auxiliary Heater Outlet Hose (1)

  6. Disengage Auxiliary Heater Outlet Hose Clamp (1)

    Use the BO-38185  Hose Clamp Pliers.

  7. Remove Auxiliary Heater Outlet Hose (2)
