Preliminary Procedures Remove the air distributor center duct. Refer to Air Distributor Center Duct Replacement . Remove the instrument panel tie bar assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Tie Bar Replacement . Disconnect the lower air duct temperature sensor electrical connectors.
1	Air Distributor Lower Duct Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
2	Air Distributor Lower Duct Procedures Using the appropriate tool release the air distributor lower duct retaining clips. Transfer the lower duct air temperature sensors.

Remove the instrument panel tie bar assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Tie Bar Replacement .
Disconnect the lower air duct temperature sensor electrical connectors.

Using the appropriate tool release the air distributor lower duct retaining clips.
Transfer the lower duct air temperature sensors.
