Installation Procedure

- Install the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose to the vehicle.
- Install NEW sealing washer (3) to the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose (2). Refer to Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement .
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS) .
- Install the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose (2) to the condenser.
- Install the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose nut (1) at the condenser and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Install the left front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Non V-Series) .
- Lower the vehicle.
- Install NEW sealing washers (3) to the air conditioning compressor hose (2). Refer to Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement .
Install the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose (2) to the compressor.
- Install the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose bolt (1) at compressor and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Install NEW sealing washer (3) to the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose (2). Refer to Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement .
Install the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose (2) to the air conditioning evaporator hose joint.
- Install the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose nut (1) to air conditioning evaporator hose (2) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
- Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LCV) .
- Evacuate and charge the air conditioning system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-134a) Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf) .
