1	Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Nut (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
2	Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Procedure Mark location of hood latch to avoid the need to realign after installation. Insert long-handled trim tool into latch opening under plastic panel to disconnect electrical connector retainer. Pull the hood latch out and disconnect the hood release cable.

Tighten
22 N.m (16 lb ft)

Hood Primary and Secondary Latch

Procedure

Mark location of hood latch to avoid the need to realign after installation.
Insert long-handled trim tool into latch opening under plastic panel to disconnect electrical connector retainer.
Pull the hood latch out and disconnect the hood release cable.
