Installation Procedure

- Install Starter Solenoid Cable (2).
- Install the retainers (1).
- Install Starter Solenoid Cable (4)
- Install Battery Positive Cable (3)
- Tighten Battery Fuse Block Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) to 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
- Install Power Distributor Fuse Block Cover (1)
- Install the retainers (1).
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS)
- Install Starter Solenoid Cable (2)
- Tighten Fastener (3) to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Tighten Starter Solenoid Cable Nut (1) to 12.5 N.m (111 lb in)
- Install Starter Heat Shield. Refer to Starter Shield Replacement (LGX)
- Lower the vehicle.
- Install Air Inlet Grille Panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Sedan)Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Coupe)
- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
