Removal Procedure

Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716)
Remove Exhaust Manifold Brace - Exhaust Manifold Brace Replacement (LTG)
Remove Engine Mount Bracket-Left Side - Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side (LTG)

Disengage Thermostat Bypass Hose Clamp (1)
Disengage Engine Oil Cooler Inlet Hose Clamp (2)

Remove Thermostat Bypass Pipe Bolt (1)
Remove Thermostat Bypass Pipe (2)
Remove Thermostat Bypass Pipe Gasket (3) and DISCARD
