Installation Procedure

- Install Thermostat Bypass Pipe Gasket (3)
- Install Thermostat Bypass Pipe (2)
- Install Thermostat Bypass Pipe Bolt (1) and tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
- Engage Engine Oil Cooler Inlet Hose Clamp (2)
- Engage Thermostat Bypass Hose Clamp (1)
- Install Engine Mount Bracket-Left Side - Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side (LTG)
- Install Exhaust Manifold Brace - Exhaust Manifold Brace Replacement (LTG)
- Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716)
- Start the engine and check for leaks.
NOTE:
Install a NEW thermostat bypass pipe gasket.
