Installation Procedure

- Install the radiator inlet hose/pipe (2) to the water outlet neck (1).
- Install the heater inlet hose (3) to the radiator inlet pipe.
- Install the radiator inlet pipe (3) to the intake manifold cover (2) and tighten the fastener (1) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install the radiator inlet hose from the radiator inlet pipe. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LTG) .
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) .
- Install the fuel pump cover. Refer to Fuel Pump Cover Replacement .
- Install the plenum front panel. Refer to Plenum Front Panel Replacement .
- Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
